News hit the interwebs yesterday that the ridiculously gorgeous Megan Fox had been cast as Catwoman in the next Christopher Nolan Batman movie.
We, like the rest of the world, held our breath to see if it was true and hoped Megan would slip into a skin-tight latex catsuit – we all want it to be true, right? But unfortunately it’s now been confirmed by Megan’s Publicist that it’s just a rumour.
“Megan is a huge fan of the Batman movies and of director Christopher Nolan but these discussions have not taken place.”
You would think this particular casting would be a no-brainer, but the fact she’s already turned down the roles of Lara Croft and Wonder Woman tells us she’s not likely to play any comic book character anytime soon let alone the fabled feline.
Maybe the combined thoughts of everyone willing her into rubber and the press attention the story got across the world might make it happen after all? We can dream! Until then, here’s a poster for her new movie Jennifer’s Body where she plays a demon girl who seduces and kills boys!

Please don’t despair! Just because Ms. Fox’s publicist says that the discussions with Christopher Nolan haven’t yet taken place doesn’t mean that they NEVER WILL!
Also, just because Megan recently turned down the roles of Lara Croft and Wonder Woman doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s unlikely or loath to play comic book characters in upcoming films. The reason she nixed those roles may simply be because the film makers wouldn’t pay the amount of money she wanted.
Wave enough cold, hard cash in front of that “ridiculously gorgeous” face of hers and I’m betting that she’ll play ANY role in ANY movie and slither into WHATEVER skintight, outrageously feti-licious outfit that she’s asked to.
After all— never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that the incredible Jennifer Garner would ever portray the leather-clad Elektra in the Daredevil movie . . . . . . or that Scarlett Johansson would end up playing the latex-clad Black Widow in the upcoming Iron Man sequel.

I’ll do my part and instruct all the Megan Fox/latex catsuit fans over here in the USA, Canada and Mexico to — as you say— combine our thoughts to telepathically coerce Ms. Fox into donning the exalted CATWOMAN CATSUIT! You folks do the same with everybody in the UK and Europe and I’m betting that we can really make this thing HAPPEN!

I agree to “Mister Completely”. Maybe it’s just a wish of myself but I think Megan would be just perfect in the role of Catwoman. … need to wait for the final decision.
fanboys and girls all around the world do seem to want this to happen so badly
